What is it?
Metabolift is a 4 week program that will teach you about portion sizes and proper intake balance necessary for ANY long term weight loss goal, you want this time to be the last time don't you?
| Week 1 | Learn exactly what metabolism is, discover why your metabolism may have slowed down over time and learn the top 10 ways to ignite your metabolism for good! | We will do composition testing to determine how much lean mass you have. We will then help you set up a realistic weight loss goal based on YOUR numbers, not chart averages. | We will then challenge you to apply what you have learned during the following week. |

| Week 2 | We will revisit your challenges from week 1, how have your new food habits affected you? Learn about the food guide pyramid and proper portion sizes. | We will have a food label demonstration and explanation of health claims on packaging. Find out how choosing negative calorie foods or foods that have a higher Thermic Effect increases you weight loss success. | You will again be challenged to apply the principles you have learned the following week. |
| Week 3 | To begin week 3 we will revisit challenges from prior 2 weeks and discuss how they have helped your success. We will dig a little deeper into carbs, protein and fat. | We will calculate exactly how much protein your body needs and where it goes when it is broken down. The 2nd half of week three we will take about cardiovascular training and it's effects on weight and metabolsim.What type of "fuel" does your body prefer at different intensities & find out exactly what intensity you should be training at for your goals. | Then we head out to the treadmills and calculate your target heart rate. Now you will experience what training at that rate should feel like and how to calculate your heart rate anytime. |
| Week 4 | This final week is all about strength training. One pound of metabolically active muscle burns between 35 and 50 calories per day! | Did you know the average person builds 3-5 lbs of muscle in the first months of training? Over the course of one year that adds up to 11-24 lbs of fat loss just by maintaining a strength training routine. |
We will now walk you through the best exercises to build lean muscle that will help keep your metabolism revved up for good! |
