Jon’s education includes a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Fitness and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Missouri. Jon is certified by the Board of Certifications as a Certified Athletic Trainer and recognized and licensed by the state of Missouri as a Licensed Athletic Trainer. In addition, he is recognized by the American Council on Exercise as a Certified Personal Trainer. Jon also holds a current Professional Rescuer certification by the American Red Cross.
Jon specializes in post injury rehabilitation, nutrition, and group education and training by focusing on lifestyle modification. In the weight room as in life, Jon believes every motion starts with core stability, therefore, his training reflects dynamic progression from the core outward. Prior to working at Wilson’s Fitness Centers, Jon has worked with NCAA All Americans and National Champions at the University of Missouri and Superbowl Champions and Most Valuable Players in the National Football League with the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Director of Fitness and Nutrition, Jon’s goal is to educate and assist you in achieving the personal goals you have set for yourself by matching you with a personal trainer fit just for you.
